HOW
CAN ONE SURVIVE THESE
Can’t just think straight anymore due to the compounding effect of daily hardship in my vicinity.
You will not know what it means
to be idle not until you are caught within. Always reminiscing of this saying ‘think
of what you can do for your nation not what your nation gat to do for’ smiles!!! It sound very simple and difficult to practiced.
Yes indeed my country have provide me with education to somewhat extent a NIGERIA university degree equivalent or more, yet could not harnessed the potential in me. I use to know of a wise quote which state “no man have rise without support”.
Now consider a nation where internship is only available to medical students, workshop and seminars are accessible by, only to some working class personnel. The elite of this nation were at the fore front of this saying ‘think of what you can give to the nation’ and their children are living and schooling over sea’s with no, I mean no! Intention of coming back home(Tag Nigerians in Diaspora). I guess this how they contribute to the nation building.
The fewer job opportunities have been suffocated by stuffing in their siblings. The limited private sector could not intervene in government empowerment programme due to the high level of corruption and lack of transparency in almost all processes to be involved.
This is the only country where hot jobs are not available to school leavers talk more of the high school attendant. Graduates compete for under paid jobs. SME’s are not manners from heaven, yet we’re expected to venture into it without support of any kind.
A nation where almost if not more than 100,000 corps member paid $4 to Nigeria Youth Service Corp (NYSC) for the purpose of graduate loan and non could access not even one cent of the fund from them for self empowerment. I pray as a nation we have not exceeded the principle of answered prayer from God Almighty.
